2025 CONFERENCEQueen’s University@ Kingston, Ontario, Canada and onlineSeptember 19-21, 2025 BUILDING BRIDGES Our focus this year is on building bridges/links with other, diverse groups focused on social justice and peace. A wide spectrum of progressives makes a rich tapestry of ideas, and ways to make them reality. The flip side is an ever present pull towards particular, sometimes even niche targets. We see bridging between these groups and viewpoints as an inspiring way to maintain diversity while enriching each both through mutual support and through knowledge and experience sharing. Our goal for this conference is both to foster the bridging process and opportunities and to reach out to all those who would share our desire for cooperation and collaboration without cooption. OPEN SPACE FORMAT Participants propose and develop the agenda in a democratic and participatory way. This process is initiated by submitted proposals or by initiatives at the conference. Our emphasis is on learning and sharing ideas by doing. Put forward your ideas, questions, summaries of work in action to discuss and/or enact at this open format conference.
